More photography images have been emailed to me, thank you, since my previoust Newsletter and again show many photographers are enjoying their travels and getting out and about, in the country at least - where are you city dwellers?. Here are a few of those on my files

This month's selection of images is from David L taken on a recent European tour.

This image is of the Prague Cathederal. Prague, capital of the Czech Republic

Capital buildings in Budapest Hungary, capital of Hungary and a classic night time exposure. Time exposure on a tripod shows the splendort of the architecture.

And another from the Czech republic in the South Bohemian Region of buildings. Great exposure and reflections.

David then visited Ersfjordbotn, a village at the end of the Ersfjorden on the island of Kvaløya in the municipality of Tromsø in Troms county, Norway and tried his hand at time exposures of the Artic Aurora Borealis.

Tripod long exposures were required in below freezing weather conditions. He was keen and I think you will agree the results were worth the effort and discomfort to capture them.

 

It is rewarding to hear from the participants of the improvement in quality of their images and their greater understanding of the photography techniques they are now able to use.

Many of the images I regularly show above are by photographers who a couple of months ago were struggling to use their cameras.

Everyone can be involved in our local workshops or at their own community workshops and image sharing – irrespective of your global location.
