Bridal
Makeup

Your wedding day makeup needs to be:

  • Fresh and natural
  • Applied with the camera in mind
  • Bright photographic lights tend to drain away facial colour
  • A matte finish is better than shiny look
  • Don't use too oily of a base
  • Open and accent your eyes with contrasting shade colour. Don't use a lot of colour
  • If you are a more mature bride do not use under eye shadow particularly if you have dark circles under the eyes. This will only reflect shadow and this must be avoided in photographs
  • Use a professional make-up artist or beautician who understands application of photographic make-up
  • Don't ruin your wedding images with reflective highlights on your portraiture. It can and should be avoided
