With
a video you are able to see, enjoy and relive so many of the
things you missed during the ceremony. Many of the events you
will see for the first time on video. A good video needs two
essentials;
Careful
planning
You
will need to discuss in detail your requirements for the day
What is the imagery you expect?
The
videographer may need additional lighting in the church to video
the ceremony. You may have to seek permission from the minister
Some
of the coverage can be left to spontaneous shots on the day
A
professional cameraman experienced in weddings
- Choose
the videographer with the same care as you choose the
stills photographer
- Ask
to see samples of their work
-
Look for an edited, sharp picture complete with titles,
good sound and music.
-
You need a professional videographer skilled in weddings
who will work in conjunction with and complement the work
of the stills photographer
- The
master tape should be recorded on a super VHS, U matic
or Betacam.
-
If you are going to store the master video ask how you
should look after it.
-
A bonus of the video tape is that you can send copies
to distant relatives who were unable to attend the wedding.
They will be able to completely relive the moments.
